Axkid Modukid Base is a part of our car seat system consisting of one base and two car seats; Axkid Modukid Infant for newborns and Axkid Modukid Seat for toddlers up to the age of 4 years. We know that no families are alike. The busy schedule of parenting however, is common to all. The functionality of the 6 adjusting positions on Axkid Modukid Base makes sure that your child stays comfortable when growing, as you can choose between a compact installation for the small child and more legroom for the bigger ones allowing rear-facing for longer. Thanks to the opportunity to choose between a compact installation or more legroom, the car seat system fits in both big and smaller cars. The base comes with ISOFIX connectors with 4 adjusting positions which ensure a more stable and safe installation for your child both in Axkid Modukid Infant and in Axkid Modukid Seat. The ISOFIX connectors are integrated with safety colour indicators, a knob clicking system for the front brace and a sounding safety system for the support leg. Axkid Modukid Base is used for Axkid Modukid Infant for newborn, 40-75 cm and up to 13 kg and Axkid Modukid Seat for toddlers, 61-105 cm and up to 18 kg, 4 years old.

Axkid Modukid Infant is approved for newborn, 40-75 cm and up to 13 kg and is one of the lightest baby car seats on the market with a weight of 3,7kg. It is also a part of our car seat system and is best installed on the Axkid Modukid Base. When your child has outgrown the Axkid Modukid Infant you can still use the same base and simply change to our next seat, the Axkid Modukid Seat, suitable for children up to the approximate age of 4 years. Axkid Modukid Infant is also compatible with Axkid Life and 90% of all strollers on the market. With a simple click, you can attach or release the baby car seat and your child can continue sleeping. It is the ideal solution for families on the go who want maximum safety and comfort for their children.

Axkid Modukid Infant comes with detachable headrest cushion, complete baby cushion both made of memory foam for safety and protection, together with the soft shoulder pads and the built-in the ventilation system to ensure that your child travels in comfort. Axkid Modukid Infant also comes with the side impact protection ASIP – Axkid Side Impact Protection. It is also possible to install Axkid Modukid Infant without the base using the vehicle 3-point belt.

The headrest is ergonomically developed with memory foam and has a high focus on comfort for your child. To provide a comfortable resting position both for your child’s back and neck we have developed a Sleep- Well-System that allows you to recline the car seat in 3 different reclining positions while your child is seated, even during driving. Axkid Modukid car seat comes with the ASIP – Axkid Side Impact Protection, developed together with a recognized crash institute in Germany, providing the best possible protection for the child in the event of a side impact collision. ASIP should be used on the side of the car seat that is facing the car’s door. When using the car seat in the middle, ASIP is not required.

We at Axkid recommend that you keep your child in a rear-facing car seat for as long as possible and up to 25kg. If your child has not reached the optimum length, the booster seat as the name suggests will boost your child high enough for your vehicle´s lap and shoulder belts to restrain your child safely. Axkid Bigkid is the excellent option for the older child approved from 15 to 36kg and is designed with 3 reclining positions for optimized comfort, along with an adjustable headrest with 7 positions to suit the child’s height as they continue growing. The headrest, seat cushion, and backrest also have soft padding for extra comfort. Axkid Bigkid has a well-considered design that allows your child to get in and out of the booster seat unassisted quickly. The booster seat includes the Axkid Side Impact Protection and 1 integrated cup holder.

Axkid Bigkid comes in two versions, one with ISOFIX-connectors and one without. With Axkid Bigkid ISOFIX you can ensure that the booster seat is always firmly secured, even when your child isn’t in the car.
